Baby Peighton

Well, this is another photo shoot that is dear to my heart. This beautiful little girl belongs to my dear friend and old college suitemate Nichole and her husband. Through them, I've been able to experience the adoption journey and all that comes along with that. The planning, the waiting, and now the joy of seeing two people so deserving of a baby to finally be able to bring one home. They are truly two of the best people you will ever know and they are going to be terrific parents. Nichole is my scrapbooking sidekick and I know she's going to love these as much as I loved taking them. Congratultations guys, she is absolutely precious.

The M Family

Edina found me through another client of mine and asked that I take her daughter's birthday pictures. Once again, the things we do for pictures - the only time we could do it was on a Sunday evening when the high that day was probably about 110. And it wasn't a whole lot better in the shade, even at 7pm :( Poor little M was sweating like crazy, but she was having a blast! We went to Mayfield Park and she had such a good time looking at all the ponds, peacocks, and people. M held up better than most kids I photograph - she braved the heat as well as 3 outfits! She is just as sweet as she can be and a joy to photograph. I look forward to seeing how she takes care of her baby sister due to make an appearance in a few short weeks.

What a sweet picture of a girl and her Daddy :)

She was very intent on reading to her baby.

We were reminded that where there are beautiful peacocks, there is also peacock poop. Luckily a spray bottle took care of the problem :)

This is one of those action shots that I just love, don't ask me why. I just do...

She was trying to sneak up of the peacocks :)

She is really excited about her baby sister on the way :)

What a sweet family

The R Family

Ahh, my yearly visit with the R family. We did a shoot this time last year in downtown Round Rock. I now know that these shoots are going to be far from boring. These kids know how to ham it up for the camera, even when they are tired because of being forced out of bed to beat the Texas heat. This is my 3rd session with this family and it's fun to see how everyone changes over the years. Thanks for bearing the heat with me and making me laugh!

Too funny!
