Two times the fun

Well, this was a special shoot first off because it was for a fellow Arkansan.  Melissa and I grew up together in a very small town in Arkansas and somehow not only now live in the same state, but practically in the same city.  But oddly enough, we ran into each other for the first time in years in our hometown of all places, lol.  My family goes back every summer for the annual Smackover Oil Town Festival and happened to bump into the Melissas and their beautiful little twin girls.  So a few weeks ago, Melissa inquired about me taking some bluebonnet pictures for them and I was so excited to photograph twins, that is a first for me.

What a treat :)  Those little girls were full of energy, curiosity, and never got fussy.  They weren't big fans of sitting where we put them, they were better off running around and exploring on their own - so that's what we did.  And the pictures turned out as cute as they could be.

Thank you Melissa and T for letting me share this special moment with you and I look forward to many more shoots and watching your girls grow.  :)

My favorite little family :)

Well, it is that time again...the great photo adventure with this family.  Usually when I tell a family they are welcome to bring props to a shoot, they don't think about furniture.  But Rachea does :)  The bluebonnets are beautiful around here and if you are from Texas, you know you have to have at least one picture in them :)  This shoot was fun, as they always are.  And Mike is my model "dad" to photograph because he is always so relaxed and goes with the flow.  Sometimes parents don't understand just how important that is.  Kids can tell when you are stressed and they will act out.  You are more likely to get that "perfect" picture if you have fun and let them be kids.

This is definitely my most photographed family and I'm pleased to say that no one shoot is like another.  Thank you for letting me continue to be your photographer :)
