Love is in the air...

I am beyond excited about how these turned out!  It was such a fun shoot and I have never had a 1 1/2 year old cooperate for almost two hours -- craziness!  Melody and Sam celebrated their 3rd year of marriage this year and Melody decided to give Sam family photos as a present.  What a great idea!  The weather ended up being nice - not too hot, not too cold.  We went to Williamson County Regional Park and just started walking.  Note to self - may not be the best idea to take pictures in the middle of an active disc golf course.  But in our defense, we didn't interrupt anyone, we just simply walked quickly through a couple of games.  These two were not hard to photograph, even though I think Sam felt silly sometimes.  They are a beautiful couple and make a beautiful family.  Here a few of my favorites, enjoy!

Mr. Little Blue Eyes

Well, it's almost time for baby M's next surgery and even though his outer appearance will not change much, Mom still wanted to get some pictures of his "before".  This is a great example of what pictures can look like taken in the comfort of your own home.  We made a make-shift backdrop in the backyard and I snapped away.  This little guy has the most precious smile and the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen!  I am so excited about how these turned out and I look forward to taking some "after" pictures with his family this fall :)  Enjoy!

The Infamous Trio

I just love when I have a "photo vision" and it actually turns out!  That doesn't happen often, especially when children are involved.  These pictures actually turned out better than I could have imagined...love them!  Thank you to Rachea and Tara for letting me borrow your children.  We 3 moms have been friends for years and just so happened to be pregnant at the same time.  Since our kids are going to grow up together, I couldn't think of a better way to document that then to make them pawns in my photography schemes!  Ha!  Anyway, I also want to thank I Touch Roses for contributing the hair accessories for baby C.

The theme here is "Living Life on the Railroad".  We shot these out at Williamson County Regional Park on the mini train tracks.  Also a special thank you  to my son for helping us keep all the babies in line and looking...he's going to be my assistant one day.

Baby M

Well, after a nice, enjoyable maternity leave loving on my new baby, it's back to photography I go!  I've done a handful of shoots since little Rex's birth, but I thought what better "returning post" than  pictures of another baby!  Little M was last featured in his mommy's tummy here and made his debut shortly after my little guy.  He was born with a cleft lip and palate and his mommy is doing a beautiful job documenting his journey of healing and love. They have had a few months to bond with M and the beautiful face God gave him, and they wanted to make sure they had lots of pictures to remember those days.  He looks so different now and I can't wait to photograph his next step of the journey...
